The State of California, Department General Services – Telecommunications Division (DGS-TD) has selected FEI-Zyfer, Inc. to provide GPS-disciplined Time and Frequency Reference Systems for use in the California Highway Patrol (CHP) VHF low band simulcast radio system.

FEI-Zyfer completed delivery of its flagship CommSync II® Time and Frequency Reference Systems to the County of Orange – Sheriff Department in January of 2008. Deployed throughout the County, the systems are used in the County’s re-banded 800 MHz simulcast public safety system.
